Jeff Cates

President and CEO of Intuit Canada

Jeff Cates is the President and CEO of Intuit Canada, a software development company that produces premier brands such as TurboTax, QuickBooks and Mint. Under Jeff's leadership, Intuit Canada has risen to become one of the top places to work in Canada, as ranked by the Great Place to Work Institute. He is responsible for helping the company become recognized as the nation's undisputed financial solutions leader in every market it serves, by leading a team of over 400 employees dedicated to simplifying the business of life.

Cates joined Intuit in 2011, with a background that includes innovative marketing, partner management and entrepreneurship. Previously, Cates worked at Apple Canada leading their commercial business, and Hewlett Packard as vice president of their consumer division. He earned an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a bachelor of commerce degree from McMaster University.

 


 

 

Todd Stanley

General Manager, TurboTax Canada

Todd Stanley is the Vice President of TurboTax Global Strategy and General Manager of TurboTax Canada. As the GM of TurboTax Canada, Todd is responsible for determining the businesses’ strategic direction and leading execution across product development, marketing, customer care, government relations and finance. Todd is deeply passionate about bringing Canadians the best tax preparation software and empowering them to achieve their financial goals.

Todd has held numerous positions across Intuit during his 18-year tenure with the company. These include leading Product Management, XD and Product Development organizations, and holding General Manager roles. Most recently before coming to Canada Todd led Product Management and Experience Design for TurboTax in the United States.

Todd earned an MBA from the San Diego State University and a bachelor of science in business economics from the University of California. He is married and has a 4-year-old daughter.
